Collection: YANYAN

Grandma’s knitting, with a modern twist. Playful knitwear made from deadstock yarn and rooted in Hong Kong.

Founded in 2019 by Phyllis Chan, former knitwear director at rag & bone, and Hong Kong designer Suzie Chung, YanYan (人人, meaning “everyone” in Cantonese) is a knitwear label that brings a fresh perspective to traditional craft. Using deadstock yarns left over at factories and mills, the brand playfully reimagines Hong Kong’s cultural staples, from the traditional Chinese jacket to the cheongsam, for today. The result is nostalgic yet slightly offbeat knitwear, filled with joyful colors, expressive patterns, and a distinctly playful spirit.
