XL BANGER

Turning the legacy of a music label into a wearable collection.

“XL BANGER” is a collaboration between the British record label XL Recordings and Jonny Banger, the creator of Sports Banger.
Richard Russell, head of XL Recordings, and Jonny Banger present a collection that pays homage to the music that shaped British rave culture and the era that inspired the label’s origins.
Featuring tracks and artwork by The Prodigy, Liquid, Jonny L, and SL2, the collection translates the energy of that era into T-shirts, sweatshirts, and hoodies.
The centerpiece of the collection is a black and hot pink bomber jacket created through a triple collaboration with Maharishi. Each pocket features a brass ACME Thunderer whistle, and a 12-inch LP produced exclusively for the collection includes four tracks, such as “Sweet Harmony” and “Out Of Space.”
