Walter Van Beirendonck

Walter Van Beirendonck is a Belgian fashion designer who founded his eponymous brand in 1983. A graduate of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, he is known as one of the legendary “Antwerp Six.” Renowned for his striking graphics and vibrant use of color, he continues to present provocative collections that blend unique cultural elements with humor. From 2007 to 2022, he also served as head of the fashion department at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, mentoring numerous prominent designers, including Raf Simons.
