VALENTINO is a luxury brand founded in Rome in 1960 by designer Valentino Garavani. Centered on exceptional couture craftsmanship and a poetic aesthetic, the house proposes an elegant style that fuses sensuality with refined sophistication.

The theme of the Spring/Summer 2026 collection is “Fireflies.” They are portrayed as symbols of hope and imagination that never fade, even in the deepest darkness. The inspiration comes from Pier Paolo Pasolini’s 1975 essay The Disappearance of the Fireflies, which reflected on the loss of sensitivity amid social homogenization. Alessandro Michele reinterprets this allegory for the present day, proposing the recovery of our ability to perceive small lights of hope. He sees fashion as a light that illuminates signs of the future, quietly kindling hope in people’s hearts.
