TALKING ABOUT THE ABSTRACTION (TATA), founded by Naoki Ichihara, is a brand that relaunched in Fall/Winter 2024. The label digitizes vintage denim from the 1940s through the 1970s, as well as rare MA-1 jackets, and reinterprets them through transfer printing.
Guided by the concept of “designing for coexistence with everyone involved in the making of the work,” TATA transfers the distinctive textures and character of vintage garments onto sweatshirts and outerwear, reviving the impact of the past in contemporary clothing.
