Bubble-Era Tailoring, Reimported: A New Meaning Resonates in Florence

As a guest designer at the 109th edition of Pitti Immagine Uomo, the brand presented its first-ever European runway show at the Church of Santa Maria Novella.
Under the theme “IN FLORENCE,” the collection reinterprets Italian tailoring from Japan’s bubble era through a distinctive contemporary lens. At its core are powerful, inverted-triangle double-breasted jackets, complemented by a diverse range of collaborations with ASICS SportStyle, GUNZE, and PROLETA RE ART.
With stylist Alister Mackie joining the project, the collection presents a weighty, immersive aesthetic that blends classical elegance with contemporary street culture.
