Not a Reference to the Archive, but a MARNI Remembered

MARNI’s Fall/Winter 2026 collection marks the first collection by Meryll Rogge. For the first time in many years, the brand is once again led by a woman, following founder Consuelo Castiglioni. Rather than directly drawing from the archive, Rogge’s focus was on creating what one might imagine as “MARNI.” As she put it, “I was more interested in recollection than reference.”

The show space was covered entirely in sisal, reminiscent of a doormat, with wood-grain walls creating an atmosphere like a domestic interior from the 1970s.
