Collection: Maison MIHARA YASUHIRO
“ETERNAL NOW” portrays an uncertain passage of time through distorted tailoring, capturing the feeling of drifting off on the subway and losing sight of your destination.
Created by Yasuhiro Mihara, the 26AW collection “ETERNAL NOW” is built around a poetic narrative exploring the ambiguity of memory and the process of aging. The visual experience of falling asleep on a subway, as the world outside gradually blurs and slips past, is translated into oversized, distorted suits, offset buttons, triple collars, patchwork, and distressed denim.
Black and grey form the foundation, accented with touches of yellow, while the collection shifts from the brand’s signature voluminous silhouettes toward slightly slimmer lines. In footwear, a new shoe inspired by soccer cleats further extends the collection’s exploration of movement, memory, and distortion.
