Two Forces, One Garment: Tailoring and Deconstruction

Feng Chen Wang’s Fall/Winter 2026 collection, “TWO FORCES, ONE MOTION,” is inspired by the Chinese philosophical concept of liangyi, expressing through clothing the image of two opposing forces standing side by side, continuously moving while maintaining a delicate balance.

Precisely tailored coats and suits are combined with deconstructed panels, while gathered nylon and oversized proportions create silhouettes that allow the body to move freely.

Styles built on wool, down, and leather are layered with lightweight fabrics and finished with surfaces marked by ink-like splashes and scratch-like textures.

The collection also features denim repeatedly hand-dyed and treated, as well as knitwear combined with nylon. Charms depicting the “Dragon Horse,” created in celebration of the Year of the Horse, appear throughout the collection.
