Erasing the Boundary Between Clothing and Products

BLESS is a design duo founded in 1997 by Desiree Heiss and Ines Kaag, based between Paris and Berlin. Rather than being identified by seasons, their collections are designated by a continuous numbering system, beginning with “N°00.” Working across clothing, accessories, and everyday objects, BLESS’s early work included creating wigs for Martin Margiela’s Fall/Winter 1997 collection.
