Collection: SENTIMIENTO
Beneath the glamour of a family dinner table, unspeakable secrets and layers of masks quietly accumulate. Resisting the speed of fashion, SENTIMIENTO inherits its archive like a “family recipe” passed down through generations.
Founded in Mexico City in 2020 by Maria Isas, SENTIMIENTO is an art and design project that moves fluidly between fashion, installation, performance, music, and sculpture. The project is known for its deconstructive practice of transforming existing garments, reworking them both as materials and as carriers of meaning.
For 26AW “TRAUMNOVELLE,” a dressed-up family dinner becomes the point of departure—a setting in which the “masks” everyone wears conceal unspoken secrets and the silence imposed by patriarchy. As a resistance to the relentless pace of the fashion calendar, SENTIMIENTO chooses not to chase seasons, but to inherit its archive like a “family recipe,” allowing shapes and patterns to organically mutate, little by little, over time.
Festive appearances and the fragility of hidden secrets exist in tension, emerging through a dialogue between lavish gowns, T-shirts, lace, and lingerie.
