THE FLWRSは、廃棄物を削減しながら循環型の社会を目指すという目標を掲げ、アパレル製品などの生産過程で生じた廃生地をアップサイクルしアーティフィシャルフラワー(造花)を作り出すブランド。
今回、THE FLWRSの平本ジョニーによるディレクションの元、THE FLWRSの活動に賛同したアーティストKosuke Kawamura とのコラボレーションピースを作成いたしました。
広島出身であるKosuke Kawamura氏が争いのない平和への願いをこめ、様々な国の廃棄されたミリタリーアイテムをリユース。Kosuke Kawamuraのアートワークをシルクスクリーンプリントした生地を、アーティフィシャルフラワーに仕上げました。
アーティフィシャルフラワーのほか、POP UP SHOP限定のトートバッグや、アーティフィシャルフラワー制作に使用したシルクスクリーンアルミ枠版を、スペシャルアートピースとして販売いたします。
※アートピース販売で発生した利益とアーティフィシャルフラワーの売り上げの一部を認定NPO法人全国こども食堂支援センター・むすびえへ寄付いたします。
THE FLWRS is an upcycling brand utilizing the apparel production waste, turning them into artificial flowers driven by the goal of reducing waste and striving towards a circular society.
THE FLWRS directer Johnny Hiramoto joined forces with artist Kosuke Kawamura for this special collaboration capsule collection.
Hiroshima native Kosuke Kawamura reused the military items from all over the world, with a prayer for peace.
Part of the sales will be donated to Certified Nonprofit Corporation Nationwide Children’s Cafeteria Support Center, Musubie.
